The program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology, recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Students must graduate from an accredited program to take the certification examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). In addition to accreditation, the JRCERT is also an avenue for a student to file a complaint for program non-compliance of Standards for an Accredited Educational Program. The student must first follow the program/university established grievance policy before contacting the JRCERT at the address or phone number listed below.
The JRCERT will post five-year average credentialing examination pass rate, five-year average job placement rate and annual program completion rate on its Accredited Educational Programs web page.
The continuing accreditation status of the program was considered at the February 9, 2021 meeting of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology. The program was evaluated according to the Standards for an Accredited Educational Program in Radiography (2014). The program documents compliance with all relevant Standards and has been awarded an accreditation for a period of eight years.
